Visa Categories
Visitors to Tanzania fall into three categories, according to their nationality:
- Countries whose nationals do not require any visa (if you're in this list, you can stop reading)
- Countries whose citizens require a referral visa (who must apply for a visa in advance)
- Other countries, whose citizens can apply for a visa on arrival or in advance

🌐 How to Apply
We recommend applying for your visa online in advance through the Tanzania Immigration Department's official website, even if a visa on arrival is an option for you. Applying beforehand helps avoid queues and delays upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). You need to apply for an Ordinary visa, for Meetings and workshops.

📄 Required Documents
You will need several documents for your visa application:
Physical Address in Arusha
You will need to provide the physical address of where you will stay. If you don't know yet, you can provide the address of a hotel close to the venue (Life Fitness Hall, Njiro, Arusha).
Flight Reservation
A reservation for a return ticket with a booking number (usually in the form A12B3C). A travel agent can get you a reservation without buying the ticket.

Covering Letter
The visa form requires you to upload a document containing "other relevant information".
